Our fixed fee prices for the purchase and sale of a business are as follows:

$600* + GST for business + $200 + GST to transfer a lease (or $300 + GST to transfer a Retail Shop Lease)# + lessor's legal costs + agent's fees (if any). |
Purchase of Business |
$850* + GST + $85 outlays** + stamp duty for business + $200 + GST to transfer a lease (or $300 + GST to transfer a Retail Shop lease)# + any lease advice and amendments at $195 / hour + GST. |
* These fixed fees presume that your contract is in order and no amendments are required or assistance with vendor or equipment finance. This usually occurs only if you pay for legal advice prior to signing the contract (at our usual rate of $195 / hour + GST). Such advice not only protects your interests, but also usually works out cheaper in the long run because you have more bargaining power.
** Plus lessor's outlays for new leases and any extra searches requested.
# Add $100 + GST if either big shopping centre lease or purchaser with bank guarantee or (if acting for seller) the lessor refuses to negotiate directly with the purchaser when required and insists upon all communication through the vendor.
