  • Fixed Fee Prices

Our fixed fee prices for our conveyancing transactions are as follows:

Standard Sale of House / Land $595 professional fees including GST (and title search) + $50 + GST to transfer each Tenancy Agreement
Standard Purchase of House / Land $695 professional fees including GST + Outlays* + Stamp Duty# + $50 +GST to transfer each Tenancy Agreement
Property transfers between related parties

Transferors: $225 + GST; Transferees: $495 + GST plus $132.50 registration fees but often advice needed at $210 / hour plus GST for related family law or other issues

Sale or Purchase with Body Corporate Contract Add $75 + GST for sale and $125 + GST for purchase
Sale or Purchase of Commercial Property Add $100 + GST plus another $100 + GST for each Lease
Tailor made contracts like sub-divisions or off-the-plan contracts Add $100 + GST if advice obtained at the start
Subdivisions / New Land No extra unless several pages of special conditions
House not finalised / House and Land Add extra for any building issues / disputes (if required)
Family Law Sale Add extra for any Family Law issues / disputes (if required)
Solicitor Drafting Contract Add $75 + GST presuming advice from solicitor @ $210 + GST / hour
Severing Joint Tenancy $450 + GST (if contested) or $350 + GST (if not contested) plus $132.50 registration fees

* We cannot give a set figure for purchase outlays until you call our office because these depend upon which council the property is located in (each council has a different price for its searches), whether you are obtaining finance and whether you want any of the less important searches carried out. Each solicitor may have a slightly different view of what are standard and what are less important searches which will usually explain the difference between the quoted prices for outlays.

Our conveyancing clerks can point out obvious mistakes or answer all your questions about the contract or help you to complete it free of charge. However, no conveyancing clerk is qualified to draft contracts and therefore properly discuss all the possible special conditions or other silent issues such as complex lease or GST issues.

This is particularly important for non-standard contracts for which you may wish to pay an extra $210 per hour (or part thereof) +GST for a proper legal advice from a solicitor if you wish to avoid greater potential risk or extra cost later because amendments to the contract and / or leases are required ($240 / hr plus GST if Commercial Conveyancing).

It's your choice how much risk you wish to take. Either way, there are no hidden extras provided you do not create extra work by needing amendments later or being uncontactable etc.
