Free Phone Advice
Our conveyancing clerks can point out obvious mistakes or answer all your questions about the contract free of charge. However, a conveyancing clerk is not qualified to draft contracts and therefore properly discuss all the possible special conditions or other silent issues such as complex lease or GST issues.
This is particularly important for non-standard contracts for which you may wish to pay an extra $330 per hour (or part thereof) plus GST for a proper legal advice from a solicitor if you wish to avoid greater potential risk or extra cost later because amendments to the contract and / or leases are required.

* We cannot give a set figure for purchase outlays until you call our office because these depend upon which council the property is located in (each council has a different price for its searches), whether you are obtaining finance and whether you want any of the optional searches carried out. As each solicitor has a slightly different view of what are standard and what are less important searches, the attached Buyer Searches List has been prepared by our insurer as part of a Conveyancing Protocol that all Queensland solicitors are meant to follow.
